Figure visibility toggle for DAZ Studio ======================================= Do you have a scene and need to render it without those clothed figures in the way for whatever reason? Or do you just want to switch a figure off because its in the way when posing another figure? Are you annoyed because the props and clothes will stay visible, even if you switch off the figure itself? Grumble no more, get this script and let it do its work for you. Technical function of the script: Select one or more objects / figures in your scene, and the script will toggle the visibility on those objects and all 'children' (objects parented to a selected object or clothes fitted to one). The script also knows how to handle Nulls, so if you got a whole heap of items parented to a Null, just select the Null and call the script to toggle the visibility. Truth to be told, the script doesn't really "toggle" the visibility of each and every item, but determines the current visibility of the first selected object, and takes the inverse to apply to all the needed parts. Two more things needs to be mentioned: For one, it's enough to have any bodypart of a figure selected to have the script work on the whole figure (yes, give the script the little finger of an V4, and it'll take the whole woman, minimal clothing and sword, leaving you with just the temple). And secondly, if you had manually disabled certain areas of your figure, they will be reactivated when you toggle the figure back on. Installation is actually very easy - just drop the script (and the icon coming with it) in any subdirectory within a DAZ Studio - content-folder (NOT a Poser-content-folder mapped within D|S, but a Studio-folder). No additional steps need to be taken. The script is offered free of charge, and without warranty. I will not be held responsible if the script deletes your scene, formats your harddrive or drives you mad. The only thing I can honestly say is that it works properly and as described above on my own system.
